FREE USE OF PROCESS SIMULATOR FOR UNEMPLOYED AIChE
MEMBERS
*UPDATE* - HOUSTON, TX (July 16, 2004) – The AIChE contact information has changed. The following press release has
been updated to reflect these changes.
HOUSTON, TX (March 26, 2003) – Chemstations,
Inc., makers of the CHEMCAD Suite of Chemical Process
Simulation software, today announced that it will
begin offering free use of its products to unemployed
members of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
The offer is made in conjunction with the Career
Services department of the AIChE and is open to members
who have registered as unemployed with the organization.
Qualified members will have full access to the software
for a 30-day period in which to build or ‘brush
up’ their skills with process simulation. An
online discussion forum at Chemstations’ website
is available to help users learn the software and
discuss applications.
“We believe this program will allow unemployed
chemical engineers to stay apprised of the latest
technology and build their resumes at the same time,
better preparing them for reentry into the chemical
process industry as an employee or consultant,” says
Nathan Massey, president of Chemstations, Inc.
Unemployed chemical engineers should contact Jody
Kurtz, of the AIChE, at jodyk@aiche.org to
learn more about and sign up for the program. To
join the
AIChE, visit http://www.aiche.org or
call (800) 242-4636.
